We join the McLaren 570S GT4 in the south of France as it continues its test and development programme at the Circuit Paul Ricard ahead of racing with customer teams in 2017.
Following a North American debut at the world-famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the 570S GT4 has returned to the track to continue the relentless development programme, which included victory at the season finale of the British GT Championship.
Unveiled in the spring of 2016, throughout the year the latest McLaren race car has undergone a rigorous test programme alongside a simultaneous debut season in the British GT Championship, before homologation is completed and the 570S GT4 races with customer teams in 2017.
The season finale of the British GT Championship ended with a dominant victory for the 570S GT4, the second in three races for customer team Black Bull Ecurie Ecosse and its young driver line up of Ciaran Haggerty and Sandy Mitchell.
And now, captured on film, the McLaren 570S GT4 has tested at the Circuit Paul Ricard in southern France; the track-only Sports Series model is focused upon a never-ending quest to improve lap times and perform in race conditions globally.
